Carlos Eagle

Santa Fe Indian Market award winner and master jeweler, Carlos Eagle, is known for substantial southwestern inlay and stamp-work jewelry that echoes the Hopi modernist style popularized by the late, great Charles Loloma. Carlos' work is highly sought after by collectors.

Carlos began making jewelry in the 1970’s. He was influenced by his mother who was an Ottawa and Chippewa artist, but taught himself the craft of jewelry making. He has had a long and successful career and is recognized as both a highly skilled lapidarist and excellent silversmith.  Carlos makes each piece by hand, so nothing is cast or manufactured.  He lives and works in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
