Zuni channel inlay sterling silver, turquoise, onyx, and mother of pearl sunface bracelet with turquoise and red coral nuggets set in handmade bezels, by Filbert and Clara Gasper, from our old pawn and estate collection.

Approximately: 1 5/8" wide x 5 1/8 inside, plus 1 1/4 opening, 91.75 grams.

Zuni channel inlay sterling silver, turquoise, onyx, and mother of pearl sunface bracelet with turquoise and red coral nuggets set in handmade bezels, by Filbert and Clara Gasper, from our old pawn and estate collection.

Approximately: 1 5/8" wide x 5 1/8 inside, plus 1 1/4 opening, 91.75 grams.

 

Filbert and Clara Gasper are highly recognized and noted Zuni artists that known for their fantastic inlay work, which they often paired with turquoise and red coral nuggets. They began working in the early 1960s. Their work is published in, Zuni: the art and the People, by Barbara & Ed Bell, 1976, vol 2, pg 7. The Gaper's script Hallmark dates from 1976, and their gothic print hallmark was first used in 1973.  This piece is probably from the mid to late 1970s.
