Raymond Sequaptewa

Hopi silversmith and medicine man from Third Mesa, Raymond Sequaptewa (b.1948)  is steeped in traditional Hopi beliefs and mythology, which comes through in his work.  His jewelry is stunningly unique, and yet reminiscent of Hopi greats like Charles Loloma and Preston Monongye. In fact, Sequaptewa’s was mentored by Loloma.
